1. Do I need to purchase a kit for classes?
Some of our courses may require a kit and it is included in the first course fee. Fortunately, you can take up to 3 courses or camps with one kit.
2. Are the summer camps self-guided?
Yes, at Novum Education we offer self-paced, self-guided courses in which students can complete projects on their own. This gives students the flexibility to advance at their own pace and based on their programming experience.
3. Is any programming experience expected for the beginner robotics course?
No. The beginner summer camp will start with the basics and scale up from there.
4. How do I know what level to subscribe my child to?
The age group suggestion is a good starter to know what course is best for your child. Nevertheless, courses are progressive, so if your child has some programming experience, you may prefer a higher difficulty level. 5. Are the robotics courses that you offer useful for other programming courses?
Yes! Our robotics kits help develop programming fundamentals in our students. Through Novum Education kits and courses, students will develop a programming mindset by learning key programming concepts and skills, such as design thinking and problem solving.
6. Can I do a trial class before buying a kit?

7. What is your refund policy?
Our refund policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase and you will need to pay for the return shipping of your product.
For refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return item, along with and the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, you will automatically receive a credit to your credit card or original method of payment, within a few days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
8. What are the technical specifications of the robotics kits?
Technical specifications vary by kit. Please refer to the Tech Sheet (Icon) in the course description of the kit you are interested in to find more information. If you have additional questions or concerns please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to assist you.
9. What type of technology do I need?
Please refer to the technical requirements of your selected course.
10. My 2-week access to the platform has expired. Can I get additional time to finish my course?
With a small fee you can extend your access to the Makersteam Platform for one additional week. Send us an email to email@example.com to request your access.
11. When does my 2-week access start? And what happens when I purchases multiple courses at once?
Platform access starts from the time of purchase. Platform access time accumulates with the purchase of multiple courses (e.g., if you purchase two different courses, you get 4 weeks of access).
12. What should I do if something breaks?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know the state of your broken item to evaluate a potential replacement or refund.
